What the entry fee covers
By paying the entry fee, a pair purchases participation in one named event. The fee covers participation in the tournament as run on the day, breakfast and drinks on the event day, match balls, a participant kit (branded towel and water bottle), and photo and video coverage of matches. Participation is delivered on the event date at the host venue stated on the event page.
Prizes
Prizes are awarded on sporting merit, based on the results of play. The entry fee is payment for participation in a skill-based sporting competition and does not constitute a wager, stake, or entry into a game of chance.
Participation
By registering and paying the entry fee, each player confirms that they are of legal age, participating voluntarily, and aware of the physical risks associated with playing a competitive sport. Participation is at each player's own discretion and risk.
The draw and pairs
The tournament is a single open draw for amateur pairs of all levels — there are no categories. Each player submits a rating link — or a description of their level — at registration, used only to seed the groups. The organizer reserves the right to adjust seeding, or to decline participation, following an audit of submitted entries. The field is capped at 50 pairs. The organizer may change that cap in either direction before an event, and may close registration early once the field is full.
Rules, conduct and organizer decisions
The tournament regulations — match format, scoring, group sizes, timings and the order of play — are set by the organizer, and may be adjusted before or during an event where the number of entries, the weather, court availability or the running of the schedule require it. Changes are announced on the event page and in the tournament group chat. On the day, decisions of the organizer and of the appointed referees on sporting matters are final.
The organizer may refuse an entry, or remove a player or a pair from an event, where a player gives false or misleading information about their identity or level, plays in place of a registered player without approval, behaves in an unsporting, abusive or threatening manner towards other players, the organizers or the venue's staff, damages the venue or breaches its rules, or presents a danger to themselves or to others. A pair removed on these grounds is not refunded and receives no credit.
Replacing a player after registration requires the organizer's approval.
Schedule and changes
The organizer reserves the right to change the schedule, to move the event to another venue of comparable standard, and, in exceptional cases, to cancel or postpone the tournament, with notice to registered participants.
Where a place has to be withdrawn from a pair for reasons that are not the pair's own — the field being reduced, an event downsized, or an entry declined after the audit described above — the pair chooses between a full refund and a credit towards a future event. This is separate from removal on the conduct grounds set out above, which carries no refund. See the Refund Policy.
Photo and video
Photo and video material captured during the tournament may be used by the organizer for promotional purposes.
Payments and refunds
Entry fees are paid by bank transfer to the organizer's account. On registering, a pair is given a payment reference together with the account details and a scannable transfer code, and must transfer the fee within 48 hours; a place that is not paid for within that window is released. See the Refund Policy for cancellation terms.
Changes to these Terms
The organizer may amend these Terms. The version published on this page at the time of your registration governs that entry — material changes are not applied retroactively to entries already paid for.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary.
